My first long distance cycling trip inspired by Kuba Rzeźnik and his journey and adventures that he endured last year on his solo trip.

Euro Route R-1 through Poland

The international Cycling Route is one of the longest signed cycling routes in the world. The stretch of Polish cycling route comes to 675 km. The Euro Route R-1 will take you through paved and unpaved roads with with a low or moderate traffic. The 35 per cent. of the The Euro Route R-1 runs through wooded areas, rich in wildlife, forests, with hidden national parks, landscape parks, nature reserves. In the area crossed by the route R-1, there are many clean lakes and rivers, around which are located in resorts, PTTK riverside hostels and camp-sites. Most of the cities, through which the R-1 passes, are offering many services like: catering and retail outlets, hospitals, pharmacies, banks, hotels, museums, cultural centres, gas stations, and bus and railway stations.

We had problems with Kuba’s bike so we stopped in one shop when I got fed up with one of the shop keepers without sorting out the problem, then Kuba got fed up with me, then we found a bike shop were the guys sorted out his bikes and we could cycle again.
